What Does Trustenomics Mean and Why Is It Important Today?
If you could sum up in one word, what the biggest challenge is for the world today, what would it be? According to Tim Vasko and many entrepreneurs sharing the global stage, this word would have to be trust. Trust is at the very core of what fuels us. In the food industry, there are about 10 companies controlling our food output and through its centralized control, 33% of our food goes wasted and 900 million go to bed hungry. Across the world, we are no longer able to trust where our food comes from. But with increased transparency, we may begin to change these numbers. With the blockchain and with a new age of control, immutable trust will be enforced from seed to sale, from the food that fuels us to the businesses that power us.
Drawing from his own entrepreneurial journey, Tim Vasko revealed his wisdom as a keynote speaker at the Canadian Export Challenge. In his talk, he left us with his key insights:
- We must challenge ourselves at our most vulnerable times. We must learn to “Smile at Fear.”
- There is a burning desire in every human being – that is to find “Trust.”
With the blockchain and with a new age of control, immutable trust will be enforced from seed to sale, from the food that fuels us to the businesses that power us.TWEET THISAccording to Tim, trust is at the heart of every success. It is the one thing we come here with and it is the one thing we must leave with. This is the new global currency. Thanks to the blockchain, we may now codify trust and quantify the number of lives enhanced and transformed by this simple human value.
